Kendra of SSM in association with other welfare agencies planned and executed
many activities under SDP.
A) Health Check-Up camp for cattle -
A health check-up camp for cattle
and live stock was organized under SDP by KVK at Dongaon on 16th
December. Dr. Bhusan Sadar and his
supporting staff extended their valuable services.
B) Free Health Check-Up for The
Villagers – Ten free
health checkup camps have been planned by KVK.
A free health checkup camp was held at Dongaon, in association with
Lotus Hospital, Nanded, on 6th December. 310 patients were consulted
and medicines distributed. A short film
was screened highlighting importance of health and hygiene. Dr. Pankaj Tate and Dr. Ganesh Bade
offered services at the camp. A similar kind of camp was held at Bamni
where 238 patients got benefitted.
C) Workshop for water log committee workers-
A One-day workshop for waterlog committee workers was organized at Ghodas
(Kandhar Tq). Dr Suresh Kulkarni, the
Sr. Scientist, KVK(Sagroli) advocated the importance of water management at
village level, during interaction.
D) Visit By The NABARD Officers – Shri Jagtap and Shri R N Durve of
NABARD paid visit to Kedarwadgaon & Nagdarwadi. They expressed satisfaction
over the work carried under SDP. During
their visit they insisted on the need to plan more activities under SDP.
